Memories Remain Strong For Church Members
As longtime members Debbie McGowan and Tara Longtree sadly watched their beloved church, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Poplar, be destroyed by a fire on Tuesday, Aug. 25, a blessing suddenly was delivered to them.

Lester Sentenced For Manslaughter
A Wolf Point man who was part of group that beat a man to death was sentenced last week to 10 years and 10 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, Acting U.S. Attorney Mark Steger Smith said.
