Display Shows Love Of Country
Driving just south of Scobey, there’s a clear indication that shows the pride of being an American especially on the country’s 250th anniversary.
The front of Todd and Heidi Mahler’s residence showcases an 8 foot by 8 foot sign in honor of the milestone anniversary for the United States.
Todd said that he always has flags waving on his lawn, but he felt he needed a special addition this year.
“I had to come up with something,” Todd said.
The large sign was printed in Billings.
On top of the sign is a large American flag.
“The American flag is 24/7, 365,” Todd explained.
The display also features a POW-MIA flag, an Air Force flag and a small statue of an eagle.
Todd served in the Air Force for eight years.
The Maher residence is located near mile marker 48 on Highway 13, just a couple miles south of Scobey.
“Everybody likes it,” Todd said of the display. “People say it’s wonderful.”
