Daniels Memorial Announces Award Recipient
Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center has announced the second awardee of the employee recognition program, The Pinnacle Award.
Created by the DMHC board of trustees, the Pinnacle Award recognizes employees who consistently go above and beyond in their roles to make a meaningful impact on patients, co-workers and the community.
The award reflects the organization’s mission of enriching the health of those it serves while strengthening the community and supporting one another for the future.
The recognition program is open to all employees across every department and role at Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center. Nominations are submitted by fellow employees, highlighting the teamwork, dedication, and service that occur throughout the organization every day.
Recipients of the Pinnacle Award receive a commemorative plaque, their name engraved on the Pinnacle Award display, and a cash award.
The Quarter 2 Pinnacle Award recipient is Bridget Kalblinger. She was nominated because of the positive impact she has made throughout the organization and the community. She has taken a strong leadership role in emergency preparedness, improving processes, providing training and conducting drills that help staff understand what to do when an emergency occurs. Her commitment to safety also carries into the many other roles she fills.
She serves as an EMT, helps community members access Life Line services, and coordinates transportation for community members. She manages a lot of different responsibilities, while continuing to put the safety and needs of others first.
For Quarter 2, runner-up honors were awarded to Janelle Handran, Laura Hagan and Daniel Ruddy in recognition of their outstanding dedication and above-and-beyond efforts.
