DEQ Issues Draft Environmental Assessment For Site In Culbertson
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality published a draft Environmental Assessment regarding a septage land application site in Culbertson.
Under Pressure Septic Pumping LLC proposes to land apply septage on approximately 20 acres of private property located approximately 4 miles northeast of Culbertson. The site would be accessed via private drive.
DEQ prepared a draft EA in compliance with the Montana Environmental Policy Act to analyze potential impacts of the proposal. The agency is now accepting public comment on the draft EA, after which, DEQ will review comments and make a final decision on the application.
