The pea harvest has started! The fields look nice. We had a little rain this morning which is refreshing and a help to keep the dust down on roads and hopefully make combining safer. All hands on deck were on deck for LCHS clean up day on Monday, Aug. 3. It was a great time to do community service and check in with neighbors to see how their summer has been. Schools begin for LCHS on Aug. 17 and LGS on Aug. 19. Students are treasuring their vacations before the busy sports seasons begin and parents are glad for their help on the farms this busy season.

The EMB Church was filled for the funeral of Mikaela Uchtman, daughter of Kerry and Lynnette (Traeholt) Uchtman, on Thursday, July 30.

Funeral services for Irene Toavs of Wolf Point were held Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Wolf Point First Lutheran Church.
