Glasgow Gets Soaked

Valley County Sheri_’s O e personnel blocked o_ entrances to a flooded underpass in Glasgow Friday, July 3. According the National Weather Service, 1.93 inches of rain fell in just under 45 minutes, breaking the daily record by nearly an inch. U.S. Highway 2 was temporarily flooded and many roads and shoulders were washed out. The previous record rainfall for July 3 was 1.02 inches, set in 2000.
