Fireworks Display Planned Saturday
To celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary, Wolf Point will have its largest fireworks display ever on Saturday, July 4. The display is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. on the location two blocks east of the Sherman Inn. The show is regarded as the largest display in northeastern Montana.
“We have some special effect shells this year,” organizer George Blount said. “We have doubled up on our finale boxes.”
He said most of the shells are five or six inches, but this year there will be some eightinch ones. Blount encourages vendors to set up and sell items. He doesn’t charge vendors. This marks the 43rd year that Blount has organized the fireworks display.
