Yard Of The Week Returns To Wolf Point
The Wolf Point “Yard of the Week” program is back. The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture and the all-volunteer Beautifi cation Committee encourage citizens living within the city limits to spruce up their yards and take pride in their property.
Wolf Point residents who meet the judging criteria will qualify for recognition and a monetary prize. Organizers said the contest will be looking for well-maintained yards with curb appeal that contribute to city beautification. Judges will be Wolf Point Chamber members who will be looking for yards that display visual appeal and welcoming entryways.
Key judging criteria: Lawn maintenance: Grass should be healthy, green and uniformly cut with no noticeable bare spots or weeds.
Landscaping: Flower beds, shrubbery and trees should be well-maintained.
General neatness: The exterior should be tidy, with no unsightly objects or debris cluttering the yard, sidewalks or driveway.
