Deserly Steps Into Chamber Leadership Role

Local business owner Elizabeth Deserly has taken over the responsibilities of being the executive director for the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.

“I wanted to do a part to support local businesses in our community,” Deserly said.

She and her husband, Matt, have demonstrated their willingness to invest in Wolf Point by first opening the Wolf Point General Mercantile in 2024 and then the New Fad Family Store in late 2025.

She explains that strong family support allows her to serve as executive director.

One of her first duties as the executive director was delivering Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede posters to local businesses.

“It was a great opportunity to see so many faces and meet new people,” Deserly said. “It was great to get the face-to-face with everybody.”

Right now, she’s being heading up the Art in the Park celebration to take place on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. She expects the large vendor fair to attract many people during Stampede weekend.

She is also being kept busy by organizing volunteers for Stampede events. If interested in helping, call 406-6532012.

“It’s a good opportunity to support what’s happening in our community,” Deserly said of volunteering.

The Chamber’s oce hours are 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
