Powwow Events Start

The summer powwow season is upon us with the Wolf Point Community Foundation’s powwow June 5-7 in Wolf Point at the celebration grounds behind the Sherman Inn. Grand entries will be held Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Red Bottom Celebration in Frazer is coming up next on June 19-21, followed by the Badlands Celebration in Brockton on June 26-28, Wadopana in Wolf Point on Aug. 7-9, Turns Around in Poplar on Aug. 14-16, the Fort Kipp Celebration on Aug. 2123 and Poplar Indian Days, on Sept. 4-6.
