Illinois Man Dies In Sheridan County Fatality

A 41-year-old male from Findlay, Ill, died in a fatality that occurred in Sheridan County on Saturday, May 30.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the victim was driving a Polaris Sportsman ATV westbound on S258 at mile marker 19 when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and jumped a field approach. The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene.

The crash occurred at 5:17 a.m. The closest town was Dagmar. Alcohol is suspected as a cause of the crash.
