Gas Prices Unchanged
Average gasoline prices in Montana are unchanged in the last week, averaging $4.58/g on Tuesday, May 26, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 67.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.38/g higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 4.0 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.571/g.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Montana was priced at $3.99/g on Monday, May 25, while the most expensive was $5.40/g, a difference of $1.41/g.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 6.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.45/g on Tuesday. The national average is up 41.0 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands $1.32/g higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
