Culbertson Celebrates 27 Grads
The Culbertson High School Class of 2026 was celebrated on Saturday, May 16, in the gym. Much of the community was in attendance.
The processional was performed by the CHS band. Senior Catherine Donaldson welcomed the audience.
Eighth-grade diplomas were awarded to Chloe Acson, Ella Anderson, Taylor Arneson, Aeryn Ator, Brailey Bigler, Dakota Bigler, Aiden Chopper, Jeremy Chopper-Murrey, Roman Emerson, CeJaye Flinn, Colby Granbois, Aubrey Lee, Noah Martin, Akeela Matuck, Nash Petersen, Kendal Poland. Brynlee Portra, Nicholas Shepherd-Tyree, Harper Struna and Jaclynne Taberna.
Ushers were Emma Berwick, Cord Snyder, Trinity Pirkle, Ally Simonsen, Caleb Semm, Gabe Annett, Kalia Featherston. Aeryn Ator and Harper Struna.
Salutatorian Josie Simonsen addressed the audience, as did co-valedictorians Ayden Ator and Ivy Colvin.
Courtney Forbregd gave out scholarship awards. Tiffany Nielsen was selected to deliver the commencement address, which was followed by the flower ceremony and slide show presentation.
Principal Mike Olson introduced the graduating class and school board trustee Chris Petersen presented diplomas to Owen Annett, Isabella Apple, Ayden Ator, Logan Berwick, Mariana Burciaga, Christian Chilson, Ivy Colvin, Genesey Deen, Catherine Donaldson. Micah Eagle Boy, Trevon Ewack, Kaden Featherston, Kevin Folsom, Gavyn Harrison, Peyton Jahns, Levi Kauten, Jade Lone Bear Herrera, Miguel Loya, Jacklynne McDonald, Leandra Perkins. Leland Pirkle, Jordan Purvias, Gain Raaum, Mandy Semm, Josie Simonsen, Ian Snyder and Hector Yellow Owl.
