Roosevelt County Sheri_’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheri_’s Oce responded to 150 calls from May 5-11.

The calls included: May 5

While deputies were patrolling Poplar, a witness waved law enforcement down. A female said a male broke into her residence and stole electronics. Deputies couldn’t locate the suspect. The information was forwarded to the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice.

May 6

Deputies met a Daniels County deputy at the county line. Daniels County had picked up a stranded female and took her to the location. Roosevelt County then transported her to her residence.

Deputies, the Wolf Point Police Department and FPTDLJ responded to the Homestead Annex for a large fight. One of the parties was reported to be very intoxicated. One person had a tribal warrant for his arrest.

May 7

Deputies and FPTDLJ responded to the Poplar airport addition for a male and female arguing. The female said her uncle was drinking throughout the night. She claimed she had been hit. The male said he was hit by a broom. The female was cited on charges. She wasn’t incarcerated because medical ocials were concerned about health issues.

Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department regarding a fight at the Waterhole. A female ran away from ocers. She was later arrested by FPTDLJ.

May 8

Deputies assisted FPTDLJ with the execution of a search warrant in Poplar.

May 10

Deputies assisted a female who was stranded and needed a ride back to Fort Kipp.

The Roosevelt County Sheri_’s report activity statistics for the past week were: Wolf Point city limits, 37; Wolf Point Rural, four; Wolf Point FPHA areas, 12; Poplar city limits, 24; Poplar rural, three; Poplar FPHA all other, nine; Poplar FPHA Airport Addition, one; Poplar BNSF, two; Culbertson town, 15; Culbertson rural, nine; Bainville town, two; Bainville rural, eight; Froid town, one; Richland County, two;; Sheridan County, two; Brockton rural, 10; Fort Kipp, three; Stateline Club, three. Total, 150.
