Lions Club Presents Flags To Local First-grade Students

The Wolf Point Lions Club continued its tradition by handing out more than 40 U.S. flags to firstgrade students at Southside Elementary School and Frontier School on Tuesday, April 7.

Club president Dave Fyfe and local Lions Club member Erika Fyfe performed the honors of presenting the flags to the young students.

The Wolf Point Lions has been involved in the flag program for more than 30 years.

The Lions also provided “Our Flag” booklets for firstgrade teachers to share the information.

Dave Fyfe said the pamphlets provides information about the flag, how to take care of it and respect it. The pamphlet also featured flag facts.
