Research Team

Jeffrey Thiele (from left) supervisor Olivia Johnson and Ashley Solheim were at the Brockton School District offices March 31. The team is part of a multiyear outreach effort active across the Fort Peck Indian Reservation to increase dialogue and education about sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse and mental health. The team recently received $4 million in grant funding from the National Institutes of Health to continue its research. They are planning a trip to Washington, D.C., in May to share their findings.
