Veterans Day Powwow Planned
Fundraising efforts are under way for a Veterans Day powwow in the area.
Organizer Perry Lilley said plans are for the Tule’ Creek Veterans Day Powwow to take place on Veterans Day 2026. Volunteers are needed to assist in planning the event.
“This will be a way for people to give back to the veterans in our communities for their service,” Lilley explained.
Plans are to feed the veterans. Volunteers are needed to be the emcee and attendance director. The hope is that local youth will also become involved in the process.
