Students Finish Baseball Shed Project
Culbertson High School’s industrial arts students have completed their mission of repairing the community baseball program’s shed.
Khrista Corpron, the school’s agriculture and industrial arts teacher, said that Andy Ellerkamp, who performs maintenance work at the school, mentioned to her how the shed needed new siding.
Corpron said 13 students were involved in re-siding and re-painting the shed. She said the project took about two and a half months to complete.
She said the biggest challenge was measuring the 90 and 45 degree angles of the shed.
“I thought it would be a real good project for the kids to understand angles,” Corpron sid.
She said the students were excited to do the project when work first started.
“It’s done. We’re just waiting for them to pick it up,” Corpron said.
