The second annual Confluence Learning Lab is being hosted on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Fort Buford State Historic Site/Missouri Yellowstone Interpretive Center and State Historical Society of North Dakota. The event will take place from 1-2 p.m.

A press release from the host organization said, “Join us for our January Confluence Learning Lab as we bundle up and dive into the wild world of winter animals at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence! Follow animal tracks through the snow, make your own clay track casts to take home, and get hands-on with an owl pellet dissection to discover what local predators eat through play, exploration and real scientific tools, participants will learn how animals live, hunt survive during winter on the Northern Plains.”
