A report from the state of Montana noted that American Indians throughout the state are disproportionately affected by the harms of commercial tobacco addiction. The progress report by the Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program, shared by the Roosevelt County Health Department with this newspaper, notes that heart disease and cancer are the two leading causes of death for American Indians

Help the Wolf Point Area Museum fill a wall. Officials recently placed 1917 through 1975 Montana license plates from Roosevelt and McCone counties on a wall above vintage road signs. They are missing 1943 and 1945. They would like to add 17 and 41 county plates from 1976 through 2000 and later.
