Area high school student Avery Johnson is more grateful than ever for her good health and bright future after a near tragic crash occurred about five miles outside of Culbertson during 2024. Johnson, a junior at Medicine Lake High School and member of Froid/Lake’s athletic squads, was heading home from Sidney on Aug. 9 after a tiring couple of days. The Wolf Point Lady Wolves worked hard but struggled getting their offensive game going as they lost to Glasgow, 51-20, at home on Friday, Jan. 3. The Scotties gained a 7-2 lead to start the game. Wolf Point’s lone points came on a steal and drive by Caitlyn Wilson. After a free throw by Keeley Blount-Henderson, the Scotties increased their lead to 13-3 on a three-pointer by Joely Chappell
