The Optimist Club of Wolf Point is again busy this holiday season as members are planning for the annual Christmas bazaar and Angel Fund project. The bazaar is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Wolf Point High School. Cost for vendors is $30 per space. Vendors need to bring their own tables and chairs. Roosevelt County commissioners are pleased that the Eastern Montana Fertilizer Project is coming closer to becoming a reality in the eastern part of the county. It was recently announced that Cyan H2 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KBR to support the development of the project. As the first signs of winter hit the area last week, Roosevelt County commissioners and DES coordinator Lindsey McNabb urge residents to take caution while driving in challenging conditions. Poplar Man Sentenced For Sexual Abuse

A Poplar man who previously pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation was sentenced last week to 68 months in prison to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.
