Jerome Etzel, 78, of Williston, N.D., died July 25, 2025 at the Billings Clinic in Billings.
He was born Nov. 10, 1946, to Clarence and Adelle (Axelson) Etzel in Wolf Point. He grew up on the family farm and at the age of 18 was enlisted into the United States Army. While he was stationed at Zweibrucken, Germany, he met his wife, Margarete, and they were married

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at Clayton-Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment was at Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 3 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Dodson.

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board held its regular full board meeting on Monday, July 28. A 30-day extension was approved for Roy Daniels for the Veterans Transportation position. The board voted to accept the Housing Ordinance 3B, superseding all prior housing ordinances.
The board authorized the estimated 2026 annual funding agreement award in the amount of $671,109.

The simple answer is that FWP uses this information to provide quick adjustments to quotas so that hunting opportunities closely reflect antelope availability. A
