Brockton Boys Lose Close Opening Game
In an exciting first game of the season, Brockton’s boys’ basketball team lost against Plenty Coups, 90-84, on Friday, Dec. 5.
Plenty Coups led by a 4328 half-time margin, but Brockton battled back to 5453 with 25 points in the third quarter.
Jared Fast Horse hit three three-pointers for the Warriors in the period. Colter Nygard added eight points in the quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Miles Boxer Jr. accounted for 17 of Brockton’s 31 points.
Brockton’s top scorers were Boxer with 26, Nygard with 18, Fast Horse with 14 and Tefton Bear with 11.
