Students Prepare For November Performance Students Prepare For November Performance

Wolf Point’s dramatic students are working on The Hunchback of Notre Dame to entertain area residents this fall.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 21, Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23. Starting times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Director Jacob Boysun said he got the idea of the Sunday performance because it’s the most attended showing in other communities. “The after church rush,” Boysun said.

“It’s more of a drama and there’s some very cool scenes I wanted to do and have the cast for it,” Boysun added of why he picked the play.

He is pleased that 18 students are taking part in the performances.

Students playing main roles include Thomas Moudree as Frollo, Nora Hansen as Esmeralda and William Schwarzrock as Quasimodo.

Seniors in the production are Cole Boysun, Elliauna Ryan and Tavian Bell.

“They are good size roles,” Jacob Boysun said of the seniors’ parts. “Cole’s character is pathetic, and it’s fun.”

Serving as assistant director is Julianna Garfield.

Director Boysun encourages residents to attend a performance to include a drama with some comedic parts with great acting.
