Charles Rathert

Charles “Chuck” Rathert, 78, of Wolf Point died Sept. 17, 2025.

He was born on June 25, 1947, in Wolf Point to Francis and Charles Rathert. He was the youngest of four siblings, Donna, Fred and Bill.

He was a devoted father to his three children, Tiffany, Tarah and Bron. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

His final time was spent back in his hometown at Faith Lutheran Home, where he was able to spend time pestering his older brothers, Fred and Bill Rathert, before their deaths in September 2022 and December 2024. He was also blessed to have his nieces and nephew

checking in on him prior to his death.

He was always a hardworking man, beginning his career in Wolf Point at the family dealership, formerly known as Rathert Ford. He then moved his family to Minnesota and finally Texas, where he continued to work in the automotive industry.

He was a stout Republican and had a great sense of humor. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and an unwavering faith in God.

A family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate his life. He will be laid to rest next to family at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
