Suspect Wanted In Monday Morning Shooting

The Fort Peck Tribal Law Enforcement reports that during the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 25, a report was received regarding an individual on a four-wheeler that drove by other individuals in front of a residence on the south side housing area in Wolf Point.

The driver on the four-wheeler shot at the others and injured one person. The victim was taken to the Wolf Point hospital and was subsequently flown to another care facility in Montana.

Law enforcement officials were notified and an investigation began. The alleged shooter left the incident immediately after the shooting.

Dante Royal Martell is being sought and is consider a person of interest. Any information of his whereabouts will be appreciated. Callers will remain anonymous.
