Candidates File For TEB Positions
The list of candidates for the Tribal Executive Board as of Friday, Aug. 1, includes the following: Bryce Kirk and John Morales have filed for the chairman position. Charles “Charlie” Headdress is seeking re-election as vice chairman.
Council candidates include Roxanne Gourneau, Jestin Dupree, Britney Cloud, Carolyn Brugh, Elizabeth Melbourne, Adrian Spotted Bird Jr., Thomas “Big Boy” Bauer, Jr., Kristian Youngman, Stacey Summers and Patt Iron Cloud.
If you aren’t a registered voter for the Fort Peck Tribes’ election, you may register to vote by appearing in person before the secretary or any member of the Tribal Executive Board on or before the close of registration at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.
Non-resident voters may register by signing the voter registration card before a notary public.
Registration for candidacy for an office of the TEB will close on Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m. Election day is Oct. 25.
