Tribal Police Reports On Gun Posts

Fort Peck Tribal Law Enforcement reports that, on May 30, law enforcement recovered an “item” that was being displayed and portrayed as a “gun” on social media.

A juvenile male was posting pictures of himself holding the “gun” on social media.

The item recovered is a plastic tan and black colored “air soft gun” with what appeared to be an extended round magazine.

The magazine was also recovered and the male was placed in custody. The magazine was not made for the “gun” and did not fit properly, making it stick out of the magazine opening.
