Gloria Schlieve

Gloria M. “Glo” Fuhrman-Schlieve, 98, died April 25, 2025.

She was born on March 10, 1927, to Agnes and John Fuchs in Richland.

She married Melvin Fuhrman in 1943. They spent their first 23 years together farming and ranching outside Nashua.

In 1981, she met and married Robert Schlieve, moving to Havre and wintering in Yuma, Ariz. She could often be found on the golf course, on the dance floor or just moving with a zest that belied her age.

She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Melvin Fuhrman and Robert Schlieve; and son, Kelly Fuhrman.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Garsjo; sons, Dennis and Bart; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evy Kravik and Alicia Donaldson.

A small family memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 24, at the Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park in Billings.
