Arielle Chapman, the future manager at Friesen’s Floral & Greenhouse, loves to see the smiles she gets from delivery recipients.

Chapman, who has been a designer for 12 years, explained that what she likes best is creating a nice bouquet and being able to deliver it in person.

“It’s very rewarding,” she said. “Their facial expressions say everything.”

The native of Manhattan, Mont., lived about 13-14 years in Glasgow. She got her start in the floral business as store front cashier in Glasgow. After a couple of weeks in that position, she knew she wanted to be in the back and put the flower arrangements together.

“I have a whole passion for flowers and plants,” Chapman explained. “It’s my peace, my everything.”

Her personal favorite cut flower is a tulip. She added that she started her garden center experience at a young age.

Chapman said she is very pleased with Friesen’s Floral.

“It’s perfect and what I’ve always wanted to find,” she said.

During an open house on May 31, she had the opportunity to meet a lot of friendly area residents.

“I’m very excited to be in this community and will hopefully share some new ideas and looks to bring smiles to people’s faces,” she said.
