Young Students Graduate From Pre-school At Southside School Young Students Graduate From Pre-school At Southside School

The pre-school graduation held at Southside Elementary School featured 27 eager learners receiving their first diplomas on Thursday, May 29.

Southside Elementary School Principal Tara Thomas announced that the group was the Wolf Point Class of 2038. She explained areas that the program stressed this school year included learning, trying new things, making friends and being nice.

When the young students were presented their certificates, they were asked what they want to be when they grow up. The overwhelming top selection was being a police officer. Other favorite choices were a teacher, firefighter, doctor, artist and serving in the Army.

The program included two songs and the students reciting the Pledge of Alliance.

Holly Hamilton, president of the Wolf Point Community Organization, presented each students with a $25 gift certificate as a learning incentive.

Graduates from the morning class were Kyle Beston, Jamie Colon, Emerson Copenhaver, Gianna Copenhaver, Emery Goodbird, Kylee Loendorf, Bree Loucks, Atreus Sharp, Josette Sloan, Luke Toavs, Isla Wagner, Adamina Weston, Alieigha Whitright and Ziyah Yellow Hawk.

Graduates from the afternoon class included Embry Cruse, Jordan Forrest, Mary George, Alexander Gourneau, Kreed Grandchamp-Solberg, Michael Hansen, Haizley Iron Cloud, Kimmy Jackson, Brayden Jackson-Flynn, Lawson Schock, Presley Toews, Teigan White and EmmaLynn WhiteHawk.
