Man Found Dead Near Poplar Football Field

Law enforcement responded after a deceased body was found near the football field of Poplar High School on Tuesday, May 27.

Authorities are waiting for the autopsy results of Jalen Robinson, 26, Wolf Point.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice responded.

Sheriff Jason Frederick said the body was discovered by a local resident who was out walking. The body was near a fence at the football field.

Frederick said there doesn’t appear to be any foul play in the incident.
