Brandi Lapke

Brandi Jean Lapke, 50, died May 20, 2025, in Glasgow.

She was born in Scobey on April 25, 1975, the second child born to Steve and Mary Ann (Bruhn) Shipstead.

Always a small and petite girl, she had a large sense of humor and lots of love to give.

In January 2003, she married Duane Lapke. Cody James was her firstborn, followed by Alexandria Lillian and Angeline Sky. More than anything, she enjoyed motherhood and being a surrogate mom to many of her children’s friends. She later divorced Duane, but they always had family functions together. The biggest thrill of her life was her twin grandsons.

She was a hard worker and loved to work. Some of her jobs included seismography, hotel maid, dishwasher, CNA and housekeeper, but her most recent and favorite job
