Culbertson School Board Meets

The Culbertson School Board met in regular session on Monday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. Reports were presented. Cultivating Careers was well received at the new John Deere location with hopes that the event continues. An exit audit with OPI was conducted on final ESSER monies with no corrective actions. Policies 3630 and 2151-NF (1) were approved. Trustees held work a session to finalize board goals.

Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office responded to 120 calls from Oct. 21-28. The calls included the following: Oct. 21 Deputies responded to Froid for a report of hunters shooting within the city limits. Deputies located a hunter who admitted he was shooting at clay pigeons into an open brush area. He apologized and was given a warning. Deputies attended a justice court hearing in Wolf
