Culbertson High School senior Henry Colvin is seeing a near lifelong project becoming close to completion. The Colvin family has been building a house near the bridge for about 15 years, Henry said. “It’s been a project for most of my life. It’s a family ordeal,” Henry said. “I was a pretty little guy pouring foundation.” Henry says the plan is to move into the house in mid-November,

Area Students Learn About Red Ribbon Week


Area students recognized Red Ribbon Week with various activities last week. Students at Frontier Elementary School heard a presentation from Marianne Zilkoski early in the week. Zilkoski urged students to live a substance-free lifestyle. She noted that students only should take pills that are given to them from their parents.
