Bainville Aims To Contend For Football Playoff Berth


Bainville’s football team entered the final week of last season with a chance of qualifying for the state playoffs. This year, the Bulldogs are looking to break down the door into six-man post season play. The Bainville Bulldogs are looking forward to a successful season with four returning starters this fall. Starters back for the Bulldogs include Elsie Wilson, Miah Pippenger, Lila Butikofer and Hailey Berwick. Wilson, a senior, earned All-State and All-Conference recognition last season. Red Hawks Aim To Stay Near Top Of Conference


The Froid/Lake Red Hawks aim to continue being a force in six-man football this season. The Red Hawks have won two state titles and earned runner-up status once during the last four seasons. The Red Hawks graduated four All-State performers from last year’s squad. Froid/Lake opens this season with 12 players. “I think we’re one of the smaller teams as far as numbers,” Coach Michael
