At the end of each month, the platoon quads of the Montana Youth Challenge Academy select a high-performing cadet from their platoon to enter this competition. The nominated cadets are recommended to the commandant who tests them in seven areas: uniform standards, physical fitness, academics, room inspections, marching practical, overall weekly evaluation scores and a written exam. Wolves Win Honors In Glendive

The Wolf Point Wolves accounted for several firsts and came away with the drama sweeps title from the meet in Glendive on Saturday, Dec. 14. Captain Chase Adams earned the humorous solo top honor at the meet. Elli Ryan and Cole Boysun captured first place in humorous theater. Thomas Moudree and William Schwarzrock took first for dramatic theater. Maya Deserly placed seventh in mime.

County Officers Sworn Into Positions

District Judge David Cybulski officially swore in Roosevelt County officials whose terms are starting in 2025 during a ceremony held in the county courthouse on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Among the individuals sworn in were new county commissioner Douglas Marottek and new county attorney Thomas Bleicher.
