A request from the education committee was $2,500 to purchase Christmas gifts for Wolf Point Head Start. There are currently 43 students in the program, which is about double the amount of a year ago. Membership approved the request.
Membership discussed a request to join the Wolf Point Booster Club. A gold membership costs $500 annually. The request passed on a 24-0 vote.
Also approved was $2,000 for the 12-plex so holiday dinners could be prepared for residents. The amount includes $1,000 for Thanksgiving and $1,000 for Christmas.
WPCO has budgeted $15,000 for its Christmas program this year to provide gifts and other items for area children.
