Burciaga Has Interest In Agriculture Endeavors

Culbertson High School senior Angel Burciaga enjoys learning about agriculture related activities.

He was a member of Culbertson’s FFA program. He said his favorite event is mechanics.

After school and on weekends, Burciaga keeps busy working at a local ranch. “I like it. It’s pretty fun,” Burciaga said.

He adds that his father is a ranch hand.

Angel’s favorite subject in the classroom is agriculture. “I get to learn more there about agriculture,” he explained.

He has been attending school in Culbertson for 11 years. His two sisters are also Culbertson students. One is a high school junior and the other is a fifth-grade students.

Angel enjoys attending his sister Mariana’s volleyball matches in Culbertson.

After graduating from high school, Angel plans on earning his Commercial Drivers License and will likely continue working in the area.
