Larry Greufe

Larry K. Greufe, 74, of Wolf Point died Aug. 23, 2024, in Billings.

He was born on July 10, 1950, to Walter and Hazel (Buettner) Greufe in Wolf Point. He grew up and attended schools in Wolf Point, graduating from Wolf Point High School in 1968 and attended Montana State University in Bozeman.

He worked for the Montana Department of Highways as a bridge inspector for 31 years.

He had many hobbies. Some of which included fishing, hunting and golf, each one he excelled at. He enjoyed baking pies for holidays and cakes for Monday night football at the Fyfe garage. He was also a member of the Wolf Point Elks Lodge for 27 years.

He spent his mornings at Old Town Grill with his coffee crew and he could always be found in the stands cheering on the Wolf Point Wolves at the high school.

He will be remembered for his uplifting smile and infectious laughter. He was preceded in death by his brother, David.

He is survived by his brother, Dennis of Castle Rock, Colo.; and sister, Michelle McAlister of Aurora, Colo.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
