Woman Arrested In Bismarck After Threatening People With Knife

A woman was arrested by Bismarck, N.D., police Thursday, June 13, who alleged she was threatening neighbors with a knife. She was charged with terrorizing, according to police reports.

Officers responded after a person called the police saying a woman was outside with a knife along East Thayer Avenue.

Two people told police upon the officers’ arrival that the woman, Taniya Red Eagle, pulled a knife on them and told them if they didn’t leave, she’d stab them.

The two people said they hid from Red Eagle in their car and that she’d stabbed one of the car’s rear tires.

When Red Eagle was arrested, a folding knife was found in her sleeve.

Red Eagle was given a court-appointed attorney on Friday, June 14.
