Area Runners Place At Longest Dam Race

Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers earned top honors in the 10K during the Longest Dam Race held in Fort Peck on Saturday, June 15.

Summers finished with a time of 35:05.83. Glasgow’s Jacob Zanker placed second at 37:39.57.

Wolf Point’s John Wetsit took eighth place at 49:19.36.

Sierra Summers was the overall winner in the women’s 10K with a time of 42:01.68. Glasgow’s Michael Kelsey was second at 47:51.85. Brockton’s Kellie Emerson took 13th with a time of 1:01:57.52.

Overall winners for the 5K were Billings’ Liam Radakovich at 20:06.14 and Glasgow’s Tanae Baker of Glasgow at 19:57.11. Poplar’s Mattie Falls Down finished fourth in the women’s division at 23:36.77.

Wolf Point’s Sophie Ricker captured first place in the girls’ 9-14 age division with a time of 26:31.14 for the 5K.

In the 5K girls’ 15-19 division, Falls Down was third, Brockton’s Remy Stempel took sixth and Wolf Point’s Loralei Toews finished seventh.

Culbertson’s Jessie Heckmum took eighth and Wolf Point’s Amber Wright placed ninth in the women’s 20-29 division in the 5K.

Froid’s Janessa Parenteau was sixth and Wolf Point’s Kristy Cox took seventh in the women’s 30-39 division in the 5K.

Placing in the women’s 4049 division in the 5K were Wolf Point’s Heidi Kent in sixth and Wolf Point’s Janielle Derden in ninth.

Wolf Point’s Stacey Summers finished third in the 5059 age division in the 5K and Wolf Point’s Crystal DeCoteau was second in the 60-69 division.

Wolf Point’s Reiley Rees placed fifth in the boys’ 15-19 age division in the 5K.

Froid’s Colby Parenteau was seventh in the boys’ 9-14 age division in the 5K.

Frazer’s Alan Kliewer finished second in the men’s 6069 division in the 5K.

Rees was first and Damari Martinez was third overall in the mile run.

Maia Kent was third and Audri Kent was sixth in the mile for the girls’ 9-14 age division.

Loralei Toews was third in the 15-19 division in the mile.

Ashley Fulbright was 10th and Marianne Rees was 11th in the 30-39 division in the mile.

Wolf Point’s Heidi Kent took first with a time of 10:01.69 in the 40-49 division in the mile.

Leni Loendorf was second in the 60-69 division and Kiyo Ruhd was third in the 70-79 division mile.

Gavin Kent took first in the boys’ 8 and under division in the mile.

Placing in the 9-14 division in the mile were Damari Martinez in second, Reed Garfield in third, Maxwell Rees in sixth, Westley Rees in ninth and Luke Summers in 10th.
