Page Nominated For Graduate Award

Nickolas Page of Wolf Point is one of 12 students nominated to receive the Dickinson State University’s 2024 Outstanding Graduate Award. This award is the highest honor bestowed upon graduating seniors by the university.

Students are nominated by the faculty in their academic departments for exceptional performance in their fields of study. Nominees submit an application packet which includes a resume, documentation of leadership, letters of reference, and an essay. A selection committee reviews completed applications and selects two individuals to receive the outstanding graduate of the year award.

Page commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom, evident through his active participation in various events and organizations on campus while maintaining a perfect grade point average throughout his academic career. Nickolas has volunteered countless hours to support DSU and its students, embodying a spirit of service and dedication. As a member of the men’s track team from 2021 to 2024, Page not only excelled athletically but also contributed to the community by helping organize track and cross-country events for elementary school students. His leadership roles as a Dickinson State Student Ambassador and Resident Assistant demonstrate his passion for mentorship and community engagement. He has organized and facilitated events addressing critical issues such as mental health awareness and drug and alcohol abuse.

Looking ahead, Page plans to attend the University of Montana to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. His career goal is to remain in rural Montana, where he intends to educate and provide care for those in underserved areas. With a deep love for his hometown and a desire to make a positive impact, Page is poised to be a compassionate and influential figure in his community, both professionally and personally.
