Poplar’s Men Team Places Fourth At Shelby Golf Meet

Poplar’s golfers placed fourth in the boys’ division during the meet in Shelby on Monday, April 22.

Placing above Poplar’s boys were Conrad, Malta and Glasgow.

Poplar’s Landon Young shot an 86 for seventh place. Broadwater’s Peyton Toney earned medalist honors with a 75.

Quinn Sutherland of Poplar tied for 13th place with a 91.

Lukas Young shot a 98 to tie for 23rd place. Navarjo Escarcega took 32nd with a 101.

In the girls’ division, Poplar’s Bree Brown shot a 134 for 29th place.
