Wolf Point School Board Votes On Hires
The Wolf Point School Board held a special meeting Monday, April 22, following a public hearing on the proposed draft Title VI application and other information for programs offered by Wolf Point Schools.
New personnel hires included Iris Kristine Mejos, Northside teacher for 2024-25; Kayla Messerly, FCS teacher; Shara Andrea Recla, junior high/high school math teacher; and Daniel Horsmon, district curriculum/ testing/data director, effective for the 2024-25 school year.
Horsmon will vacate his current position as junior high principal after the 2023-24 school year to take the new position.
Summer custodial hires include Jonathan Anketell, Beverly Corne, Tyrone Darnell, Kendra Hawk, Shelby Martell and Jubilee Tapaha.
The board approved a purchase order for the purchase of a square scrub floor prep machine for the maintenance department. The machine will be purchased from Dacotah Paper at a cost of $6,193.99.
A lawn service contract with Erickson Irrigation was approved for $21,300.
The board approved a resolution calling for the disposal of the Lowry Field bleachers as obsolete property.
