Amos Allen Cloud Sr., 84, of Poplar died April 11, 2024.

He was born Sept. 1, 1939, at a log cabin house in Riverside to Agnes Ownspipe, Joseph Cloud and Ernest Longee. He was given the name “Chaske” First Boy at a young age. He was also well known for his nickname Buster.

He grew up in Poplar and Cannonball, N.D. He also lived in Denver, Colo., at a later age. He went to school in Poplar and Cannonball and went onto to get a degree in mechanics and become a certified mechanic. He worked on cars throughout his years, but also worked as a security guard at A& S Industries for many years.

He met Cheryl Melbourne and they were married on Dec. 16, 1978, in Poplar. They had five children and also raised a son together and a daughter from a previous relationship.

He was a family man, first and foremost and always put family first. He was there when needed at any given time. He was passionate about working on cars with his brothers and sons and listening to Indian music. He enjoyed watching wrestling and his biggest joy in life was spending time with his children and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children,
