Poplar Track Team Travels To Baker

Poplar scored 15 points in the boys’ standings and nine points in the girls’ division during the track meet in Baker on Saturday, April 13.

Walker Burshia led Poplar’s boys by earning second-place honors in the shot put with a best of 43-9.

Raylando Red Eagle ran to a sixth-place finish in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:23.37.

Adrien Matuck took seventh in the long jump with a mark of 18-11.

In the girls’ division, Kacie Colgan finished second in the 3200 at 13:58.79 and seventh in the 1600 at 6:21.66.

Kessee Erickson placed third in the discus with a best of 97-7 and earned sixth in the shot put with a mark of 30-8.

In the javelin, Jade Eder- Miller took ninth at 73-2 and Erickson was 10th at 730.

On Saturday, April 20, the team will competed at the Sidney Invitational Track Meet.
