With an inexperienced group of players, Wolf Point golf coach Rodney Paulson is optimistic and working toward the future.

The Wolves started their practices on Monday, March 18, and had seven golfers at that practice.

“We’re still working on a couple of more,” Paulson said of the turnout.

Ryver Summers returns for the girls’ team. A newcomer to the girls’ squad is Riley Bauer.

The boys’ squad includes junior Logan Wolff, William Schwarzrock, freshman Conway Turcotte, freshman Oliver Garrison and freshman Ezekial Gourneau.

Jeremiah Whitright is the squad’s assistant coach.

Paulson said he feels it’s important for Wolf Point to start a junior program for fifth- through seventh-grade students in order to build the high school program.
