she organized at Southside School. She said more than 60 individuals attended the event, which included playing Bingo.

Junior high principal Dan Horsmon said that the SOS suicide prevention program is being presented at the school. The program helps determine which students might need help.

Horsmon said a speaker has been lined up in an attempt to decrease the vaping problem.

“It’s bad and a lot of our younger kids are doing it,” he added.

The program at the schools along with a presentation for families is scheduled for April 15.

Board chair Roxanne Gourneau stressed the importance of adding a program next year to help two spirit individuals. Gourneau said the students should be embraced and be treated equally.
